So again lots of time hath passed. Basically it was the end of term at college -STRESS. But that’s all over so happy days. However, the work is only just begining. For the mean time, while i toil away to make some nice summery projects and try promoting myself to get some work enjoy a selection of photos used in one of the projects I did last term. For more pics and more work check out my recently updated Portfolio on Behance at behance.net/letter-a
Right i was asked by Red Bull to design the drinks menu (shown above) for this event, Kicks n Canvas, where artist’s will customize a pair of all white Nike’s and produce an 50x50cm piece that compliments the trainers. Plus, doing live graffiti that sort of thing. Seeing as some of the illustrators involved include Jon Burgerman, Inkie and Disco Teck amongst many others, it was a real privilege to get involved. The design had to fit in with the feel of the event and I had less than 2 days to produce it, so I came up with this pattern based on vectors influenced from the hip hop world. Hope you enjoy.
The event is running from April 9th to April 18th with the opening night on the 8th at The gallery in Redchurch Street, 50 Redchurch Street, Shoreditch, London, E2 7DP. There’s loads of decent events going on throughout so go down and get involved.
Its been an excruciatingly long amount of time since my last post. An oxymoronic combination of me working harder and focusing on college stuff and also some laziness. Anyway, here’s a digital postcard I did for ‘to Haiti with love’, an initiative calling for artists and designers to make digital postcards which can then be auctioned online to raise money for Haiti. The website is sadly still not yet online. You can probably see I’m still feeling this 80s vibe.
